CELLS alive! represents 30 years of capturing film and computer-enhanced images of living cells and organisms for education and medical research. The site has been available continuously and updated annually since May of 1994 and now hosts over 4 million visitors a year.

Chalk Talk
This animated series of short videos acts as a video glossary to define specific scientific terms or concepts in a fun, easy to understand way. In each episode you’ll learn what it is, why researchers study it, and what it might be used for. The content of each episode will be appropriate for all age groups, although some concepts may be high-school level science.

Bugscope
"The Bugscope project provides free interactive access to a scanning electron microscope (SEM) so that students anywhere in the world can explore the microscopic world of insects. This educational outreach program from the Beckman Institute's Imaging Technology Group at the University of Illinois supports K-16 classrooms worldwide."
